What is webmail?

Web mail is a web based interface to your mail server. It allows users to access their email from any computer via any standard web server.

Logging in

To access web mail, browse to mail.yourname.com or email.yourname.com. For email only users, select "Email User" in the first combo box. For unix users, select "Web User."

Setting Preferences

The first time a user logs in they will see a warning that they have not set their preferences. To set preferences click on "Preferences" in the left navigation bar. Review the email adress to be sure it is correct, and enter your full name (these will be used for identification, and email replies).

Webmail appearance

The appearance of the webmail interface can be customize using the "brand imp" feature on the web control panel.
