An email user (aka Email only user) is a user who can only access the mail server, no telnet (remote login), or FTP (file management). This is opposed to a unix user who would have access to all these services. Creating a new Email user Email users are created from the web control panel in Email > Email Users,
by clicking on "create new user." The first three boxes are the username
and password. After that is the quota. The quota is the size limit of the inbox.
The next box is the email adress, the will be used to create a forward action
in the Email actions section. Editing Users can be edited and renamed just as easily as they are created. Simple click on the user name you wish to edit on the Email > Users page, then click on the operation you wish to perform. Accessing Email To access email from a POP client there are to important things to remember. The first is that the server you are trying to get the mail from must be www.host.com, not email.host.com or pop.host.com . The second thing is that if the user is an Email only user, you must enter a plus (+) sign before the username. To access email from the web based interface (email.host.com) you must leave the "account type" on the login screen set to Email user.
