Why you might want to do this

If you don't want us to be your domain name registrar, then need to register your domain name with another another registrar. Possible other registrars include:

  • www.networksolutions.com
  • www.joker.com
  • www.domainmonger.com
  • www.register.com

Instructions for networksolutions.com

To register a domain name you with networksolutions.com should go to the network solutions website and follow their domain name registration link.

You will be asked some specific information about your web presence provider. This page is here to give you the answers to the questions, so that you can easily register your domain name.

These instructions are supplemental to the instructions provided by network solutions in their registration wizard. Please make sure to read all of their instructions when registering a domain name so that you do it correctly.

Step two

Choose to "register" the domain name. You do not want to chose the "reserve" option as you will pay extra money to Network Solutions. If you want to reserve a domain name, just register it with our technical information and you can setup your web hosting service with us at your leisure.

Step four

In the field for the "NIC Handle" of the "Technical Contact" enter our NIC handle of DR865-ORG. Step five

In step five you are asked about the DNS server information for your web presence provider and you should fill it out with the following information:

    First nameserver.
name: ns1.drh.net
ipaddress: 64.21.76.11

Secondary nameserver
name: ns2.drh.net
ipaddress: 64.21.76.12
